Thank You! :o) Materials: Approx. 130 yds size 10 cotton crochet thread (Aunt Lydia's Classic Crochet in Pumpkin used for sample); size 6 (1.8mm) steel crochet hook (I used a Boye hook) OR Size Needed for Gauge. . Gauge: RNDS 1 & 2 = about 1¼" across . Finished Size: About 10½" across at widest points after washing and blocking . Special Stitches: Beginning Shell (beg shl) - sl st in next tr and/or into next ch sp, (ch 4, tr, ch 2, 2 tr) in same sp Shell (shl) - (2 tr, ch 2, 2 tr) in ch sp indicated Shell in Shell (shl in shl) - work Shell in ch-2 sp of next Shell Beginning Shell Increase (beg shl incr) - (beg shl, ch 2, 2 tr) in same sp Shell Increase (shl incr) - (shl, ch 2, 2 tr) in next Shell 2-Treble Cluster (2-trcl) - holding last loops of each st on hook, work 3 tr in ch sp indicated, yo, draw through all 4 loops on hook Beginning 3-Treble Cluster (beg 3-trcl) - sl st in next tr and into next ch sp, ch 3, holding last loops of each st on hook, work 2 tr in same sp, yo, draw through all 3 loops on hook 3-Treble Cluster (3-trcl) - holding last loops of each st on hook, work 3 tr in ch sp indicated, yo, draw through all 4 loops on hook Treble Decrease (tr dec) - holding last loops of each st on hook, tr in ch sps indicated, yo, draw through all 3 loops on hook Picot (p) - ch 3, sl st in front loop and front vertical bar of st just made Picot 2 (p2) - ch 3, sc in front loop and front vertical bar of st just made Double Crochet Picot (dcp) - ch 4, dc in front loop and front vertical bar of st just made . NOTES: Doily may "ruffle" slightly until washed and blocked Picots on Rnd 4 may be omitted if you wish . . Begin with ch 5, join with sl st in first ch to form ring. . RND 1: ch 7 (counts as first tr and 3 ch), (tr in ring, ch 3) 7 times, join with sl st in 4th ch of beg ch-7. (8 tr, 8 ch-3 sps) . RND 2: sl st into ch-3 sp, ch 1, 4 sc in same sp and in each ch-3 sp around, join with sl st in top of first sc. (32 sc) .
