Center #1 -- Rnds 1 - 3 = 1½" across (Rnds 1 - 8 = 4" across) Center #2 -- Rnds 1 - 3 = 2½" across (Rnds 1 - 7 = 4½" across) . . CENTER #1 . Special Stitches: Beginning Cluster (beg cl) - ch 3, holding last loops of sts on hook, tr in each of next 3 tr, yo, draw through all 4 loops on hook Cluster (cl) - holding last loops of sts on hook, tr in each of next 4 tr, yo, draw through all 5 loops on hook . Begin with ch 4, join with sl st in first ch to form ring. . Rnd 1: ch 4 (counts as first dc and 1 ch), (dc in ring, ch 1) 7 times, join with sl st in 3rd ch of beg ch-4. (8 dc, 8 ch-1 sps) . Rnd 2: ch 6 (counts as first dc and 3 ch), (dc in next dc, ch 3) around, join with sl st in 3rd ch of beg ch-6. (8 dc, 8 ch-3 sps) . Rnd 3: sl st into ch-3 sp, ch 3 (counts as first dc), 3 dc in same sp, ch 3, (4 dc in next ch-3 sp, ch 3) around, join with sl st in top of beg ch-3. (32 dc, 8 ch-3 sps) . Rnd 4: ch 4 (counts as first tr), tr in each of next 3 dc, ch 2, tr in next ch-3 sp, ch 2, (tr in each of next 4 dc, ch 2, tr in next ch-3 sp, ch 2) around, join with sl st in top of beg ch-4. (40 tr, 16 ch-2 sps) . Rnd 5: beg cl, ch 5, (sc, ch 3, sc) in next tr, ch 5, [cl, ch 5, (sc, ch 3, sc) in next tr*, ch 5] around ending last rep at *, ch 2, dc in top of beg cl to join and form last ch-5 lp. (8 cl, 16 ch-5 lps) . Rnd 6: ch 1, sc in lp just made, *ch 6, sc in next ch-5 lp**, ch 8, sc in next ch-5 lp*, rep from * to * around ending last rep at **, ch 5, dc in first sc to join and form last ch-8 lp. (8 ch-6 lps, 8 ch-8 lps) . Rnd 7: ch 1, sc in lp just made, *ch 5, sc in ch-6 lp, ch 5, sc in ch-8 lp**, ch 5, sc in same lp*, rep from * to * around ending last rep at **, ch 2, dc in first sc to join and form last ch-5 lp. Special Stitch: Popcorn (pc) - 5 tr in ch sp indicated, drop loop from hook, insert hook in top of first tr, pick up dropped loop and pull through . Begin with ch 5, join with sl st in first ch to form ring. . Rnd 1: ch 6 (counts as first tr and 2 ch), (tr in ring, ch 2) 9 times, join with sl st in 4th ch of beg ch-6. (10 tr, 10 ch-2 sps) . Rnd 2: ch 7 (counts as first tr and 3 ch), *(pc in next ch-2 sp, ch 3) 2 times**, tr in next tr, ch 3*, rep from * to * around ending last rep at **, join with sl st in 4th ch of beg ch-7. (10 pc, 15 ch-3 sps, 5 tr) . Rnd 3: ch 7 (counts as first tr and 3 ch), tr in next ch-3 sp, * ch 3, pc in next ch-3 sp, ch 3, tr in next ch-3 sp, ch 3**, tr in next tr, ch 3, tr in next ch-3 sp*, rep from * to * around ending last rep at **, join with sl st in 4th ch of beg ch-7. (5 pc, 20 ch-3 sps, 15 tr) . Rnd 4: ch 8 (counts as first tr and 4 ch), (tr in next tr or pc, ch 4) around, join with sl st in 4th ch of beg ch-8. (20 tr, 20 ch-4 sps) . Rnd 5: sl st into ch-4 sp, ch 3 (counts as first dc), (dc, ch 1, 2 dc, ch 1) in same sp, (2 dc, ch 1) 2 times in next ch-4 sp and in each ch-4 sp around, join with sl st in top of beg ch-3.
