Center #3 -- Rnds 1 & 2 = 2¼" across (Rnds 1 - 6 = 4½" across) Center #4 -- Rnds 1 - 3 = 2" across (Rnds 1 - 7 = 4" across) . For Help with the Y-Stitch used in these centers, Click Here. . CENTER #3 . Special Stitches: Quadruple Treble (qtr) - yo 5 times, insert hook in next sc, pull up lp, (yo, draw through 2 loops on hook) 6 times Y-Stitch (Y-st) - work qtr, ch 3, dc in side of qtr just made at 2nd diagonal bar from top . Begin with ch 5, join with sl st in first ch to form ring. . Rnd 1: ch 1, 10 sc in ring, join with sl st in top of first sc. (10 sc) . Rnd 2: ch 12, dc in 7th ch from hook (counts as beg Y-st), ch 2, (Y-st, ch 2) 9 times, join with sl st in 9th ch of beg ch-12. (10 Y-sts, 10 ch-2 sps) . Rnd 3: sl st into ch-3 sp of Y-st, ch 4 (counts as first tr), (tr, ch 2, 2 tr) in same sp, ch 3, *(2 tr, ch 2, 2 tr) in ch-3 sp of next Y-st, ch 3*, rep from * to * around, join with sl st in top of beg ch-4. (40 tr, 10 ch-2 sps, 10 ch-3 sps) . Rnd 4: ch 3 (counts as first dc), *dc in next tr, 3 dc in ch-2 sp, dc in each of next 2 tr, ch 3**, dc in next tr*, rep from * to * around ending last rep at **, join with sl st in top of beg ch-3. (70 dc, 10 ch-3 sps) . Rnd 5: sl st in next 3 dc, (ch 1, sc) in same st as last sl st, ch 7, sc in next ch-3 sp, * ch 7, sk next 3 dc, sc in next dc, ch 7, sc in next ch-3 sp*, rep from * to * around, ch 3, tr in first sc to join and form last ch-7 lp. (20 ch-7 lps) . Rnd 6: ch 1, sc in lp just made, ch 7, (sc in next ch-7 lp, ch 7) around, join with sl st in top of first sc. (20 ch-7 lps) . . March. . . .June. . . .September CENTER #4 . Special Stitches: Double Treble (dtr) - yo 3 times, insert hook in st or sp indicated, pull up lp, (yo, draw through 2 loops on hook) 4 times Y-Stitch (Y-st) - work dtr, ch 3, dc in side of dtr just made at 2nd diagonal bar from top . Begin with ch 6, join with sl st in first ch to form ring. . Rnd 1: ch 1, sc in ring, (ch 4, sc in ring) 7 times, ch 1, dc in first sc to join and form last ch-4 lp. (8 sc, 8 ch-4 lps) . Rnd 2: ch 1, sc in lp just made, (ch 6, sc in next ch-4 lp) 7 times, ch 2, tr in first sc to join and form last ch-6 lp. (8 sc, 8 ch-6 lps) . Rnd 3: ch 5 (counts as first tr and 1 ch), (tr, dc, hdc, sc) in lp just made, (sc, hdc, dc, tr, ch 1, tr, dc, hdc, sc) in each ch-6 lp around, (sc, hdc, dc) in same lp as beg ch-5, join with sl st in 4th ch of beg ch-5. (8 ch-1 sps) . Rnd 4: sl st into ch-1 sp, ch 9, dc in 7th ch from hook (counts as beg Y-st), ch 7, (Y-st in next ch-1 sp, ch 7) around, join with sl st in 6th ch of beg ch-9. (8 Y-sts, 8 ch-7 sps) . Rnd 5: sl st into ch-3 sp of Y-st, (ch 1, sc) in same sp, *ch 5, sc in next ch-7 sp, ch 5, sc in same sp**, ch 5, sc in ch-3 sp of next Y-st*, rep from * to * around ending last rep at **, ch 2, dc in first sc to join and form last ch-5 lp.
