To "Ditch Your Hooks", slip hooks under 2 or 3
vertical bars of any row, thus placing them in
the "ditches".  Hooks will be held securely.  :o)

SPECIAL NOTE:
Because there are plenty of sites with Basic CroHook Instructions, this pattern does not include a tutorial.  To learn to work with a CroHook, I suggest you check out the Instructions at Knitted Threads.  This is the page that helped me the most!  You can also find more tutorials at Stargazer's CroHook links page.

Materials:
Worsted weight yarn, small amount each of 2 colors [Red Heart Super Saver in Cherry Red (MC) and White (CC) used for sample]; size K CroHook, OR Size Needed for Gauge; desired length of 3/8" wide ribbon in coordinating color.

Gauge:
In Basic CroHook st using size K hook, 3 sts = 1" and 3½ rows = 1"

Finished Size:
Fits standard size aluminum crochet hooks.

With K CroHook and MC, ch 25, work in Basic st until square or until desired length, ending with CC. (25 sts per row)  Work off CC loops with MC and bind off Loosely with sl sts.  Fasten Off Both Colors.

Secure & Weave in all ends.

Weave ribbon through center st at bind-off edge and tie in a knot.  Slip hooks in case as described beneath photo at top of page.  Roll up case with hooks inside and tie ribbon into a bow (see photo below).
