What follows is
my Crystal Star Tablecloth Motif.
Vicki liked it and wanted to "test" the pattern to see if she would enjoy
it, but was already in the midst of making a tablecloth. Once she
completed the motif, her creativity kicked in and she added to it to make
this Beautiful Doily! Vicki, you did a Great Job!! I Love It
and I'm sure other folks will too!! :o)

I added a few rows
to James' Crystal Star Tablecloth Motif to make a doily. This is
my first attempt at crocheting without a pattern. I made it from
the last of my mother's crochet thread with one of her hooks. Yellow
was her favorite color and crocheting was really her only hobby, so it
seemed fitting to name it in memory of her.

Decrease (dec)
- yo, (insert hook in next dc, draw up loop) 2 times, yo and draw through
3 loops, yo and draw through last 2 loops (counts as 1 dc)

NOTE:
Rnds 13 & 14 may
tend to cause doily to "cup" slightly, but it will lay flat again when
