Thoroughly dampen a Clean washcloth (Not Too Wet!), wrap it around the covered ball and squeeze gently. When ball cover is sufficiently damp, wrap in Clean dry towel and squeeze gently to remove excess moisture. Hang ball and allow to air dry for several hours or overnight. 2.) If you do choose to block your ornament cover, test the ball to be sure color won't bleed before you make the pieces. To do this, thoroughly dampen a few short strands (4" to 5") of the thread you intend to use, wrap them around the satin ball and allow to dry completely. Remove strands when dry and check to see if any color from the satin ball has bled onto thread. Do Not Block the ball cover if the color bleeds onto your thread. :o) .
