SPECIAL NOTES:
Because there are plenty of sites with Basic CroHook Instructions, this pattern does not include a tutorial.  To learn to work with a CroHook, I suggest you check out the Instructions at Knitted Threads.  This is the page that helped me the most!  You can also find more tutorials at Stargazer's CroHook links page.

These slippers may appear a bit small when finished, however, due to the nature of the CroHook fabric, they will stretch.

Materials (for 2 Slippers):
Worsted weight yarn, approx. 2½ ozs each of 2 colors [Red Heart Super Saver in Burgundy (MC) and Hunter Green (CC) used for sample]; size K CroHook AND size H aluminum hook - OR Sizes Needed for Gauge.

Gauge:
In Basic CroHook st using size K hook, 3 sts = 1" and 3½ rows = 1"

Finished Size:
Fits Adult male who normally wears a size 10½  shoe.  For larger or smaller sizes, measure the length of your foot, then add or subtract 2 chs from the starting ch per inch.

Special Stitches:
Single Crochet Decrease (sc dec) - (pull up loop in next st) 2 times, yo and draw through all 3 loops on hook (counts as 1 sc)

SLIPPER

With K CroHook and MC, ch 33, work in Basic st until 16 "ridges" of CC are completed. (33 sts per row)  Work off CC loops with MC and bind off Loosely with sl sts.  Do Not Fasten Off Either Color.

Shape TOE
.
Drop loop and pick up with H hook, ch 1, sc in end of same row, sc in end of every other row and in end of starting ch, ch 1, turn.  Sc in each st across.  Fasten Off, leaving 15" end.  With wrong side facing, weave end in and out of every other st of last row and pull tightly to close.  Secure to beg st of last row.  Whipstitch 16 st at top seam together, leaving 17 sts unworked.  Fasten Off.

Shape HEEL

With right side facing, insert H hook under last CC st and pick up CC.  Ch 1, sc in end of same row and in end of each row across, working 2 sc dec at center fold.  Fasten Off, leaving long end for sewing seam.  Whipstitch heel seam together.

TOP EDGING
.
RND 1: With right side facing and H hook, join CC with sc in seam at heel, sc in each of next 16 st, sc dec over next 2 sts (across top seam), sc in rem sts, join with sl st in top of first sc.

RND 2: ch 1, sc in same st and in each st around, working sc dec at top seam, join with sl st in top of first sc.  Do Not Fasten Off.

CUFF
.
ROW 1: Ch 11, sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each rem ch, sl st in each of next 2 sts of Edging, turn.

ROW 2: Working in Back Loops Only (BLO), sc in each st across, ch 1, turn.

Repeat these 2 rows around, working in BLO until all sts of Edging have been worked into.  Fasten Off, leaving long end for sewing seam.  Whipstitch cuff seam together.

Secure & Weave in all ends.
